George William Georges

George William Georges has an established practice that concentrates on insurance claims, commercial transactions and litigation, and business formations.

Mr. Georges graduated from Temple University and Temple University School of Law with honors and served on the Temple Law Review. He was admitted to the bar in 1965 by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He has served as President of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, as President of the Pan Macedonian Society of Greater Philadelphia, and is currently Legal Advisor to the Pan Macedonian Society. These are Greek American philanthropic and cultural organizations. Mr. Georges is fluent in the Greek language. Over the years, he has written a series of published articles about the history of Greek Immigrants to America.

In July 1978, Mayor Frank Rizzo awarded to Mr. Georges the Liberty Bell Prize for service to the City of Philadelphia. In 2005, the Eleftheria Post 6633 Veterans of Foreign Wars honored Mr. Georges for his support of American Veterans.

Mr. Georges is a member of the Democratic National Committee and the Philadelphia Bar Association, and he frequently serves as an Arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia.
